As of now, Xabi Alonso’s side are sitting at the sixth spot in the Bundesliga standings, having collected 48 points from 31 games. Meanwhile, when it comes to the continental stage, Leverkusen eliminated Monaco, Ferencvaros and Belgian outfit Union SG to reach the final for of the Europa League.
