Mura surprised everyone in the last edition of the Europa Conference League, defeating the 2019 champions League finalist Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Fazanerija. Damir Contala’s side got the better of Damzale last Sunday, in a seven -goal thriller, courtesy of a brace from Mirlind Daku and one goal each from Luka Bobicanec and Nikola Petkovic. St Patrick’s on the other hand, have failed to progress past the qualifying stages of European competition since 2008. The tie is very much in the balance and if the Irish outfit can put up an impressive performance in front of a vociferous Slovenian fans, they are in with a chance to go through to the next round of the qualifying.

Mura boss Contala is unlikely to make too many changes to the side that earned the draw last week. Striker Davu, who is in red hot form, having netted three times in the last two outings is likely to lead the attack alongside Petkovic. As for St Patrick’s, forward Mark Doyle is unavailable due to suspension after earning a red card in the first leg. Therefore Ronan Coughlan could join Eoin Doyle in the attack.
NS Mura probable starting lineup: Obradovic; Beganovic, Marusko, Morris, Pucko; Cipot, Lorbek, Bobicane, Kous; Petkovic, Daku
St Patrick’s Athletic probable starting lineup: Anang; Brockbank, Grivosti, Redmond, Breslin; Cotter, Timmermans, O’Reilly, Forrester; Coughlan, Doyle
