Spurs are currently sitting at the fifth spot in the English top flight standings, having collected 39 points from 23 games, just two adrift of the top 4.
Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to end a two-game losing streak when they host a struggling West Ham United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday evening. The hosts suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to AC Milan in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in the mid-week, while West Ham played out a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in the top flight last weekend. As of now, Spurs are sitting at the fifth spot in the English top flight standings, having collected 39 points from 23 games, just two adrift of the top 4. The visitors, meanwhile, have a game in hand, and are languishing at the 18th position with just 20 points to their name, one point away from safety.

Since defeating the reigning champions Manchester City 1-0, through Harry Kane’s goal at home on February 5, Tottenham have suffered back-to-back defeats against Leicester City (4-1) and AC Milan (1-0). Last Saturday, Spurs lost to the Foxes, despite taking the lead through Rodrigo Bentancur’s 14th-minute effort. Nampalys Mendy, James Maddison, Kelechi Iheanacho and Harvey Barnes found the back of the net for Leicester and handed Tottenham their eighth league-defeat of the season. After that, the North London club lost to Milan in the European match, courtesy of Brahim Diaz’ lone goal in the eighth minute.
West Ham, on the other hand, are undefeated in their last two outings, earning draws against Newcastle United and Chelsea. Last time out, the Hammers went behind through Joao Felix 16th-minute effort, but Emerson Palmieri leveled just 12 minutes later to share the spoils against the Blues. David Moyes’ side has lost just once in their seven contests since the turn of the year, which will certainly be viewed as a positive light for the Hammers. After Sunday’s London derby, West Ham will host Nottingham Forest in the league, before taking on Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford.
Tottneham’s injury list consists of Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Hugo Lloris, while the latest player to join them is Bentancur, who ruptured his ACL during the loss to Leicester. Rcicharlison might come into the playing eleven, in place of either Son Heung-min or Dejan Kulusevski. As for West Ham, Lucas Paqueta is sidelined with a shoulder injury, joining the likes of Alphonse Areola, Maxwell, Cornet, Kurt Zouma and Gianluca Scamacca in the treatment room.

West Ham United probable line-up: Fabianski, Kehrer, Ogbonna, Creswell, Coufal, Rice, Soucek, Emerson, bowen, Antonio, Benrahma
