The Swans have lost four of their last five league-games. Last time out, Russell Martin’s side lost to Stoke City at home, despite taking the lead through Morgan Whittaker’s goal inside the opening two minutes. Josh Laurent’s first-half brace and a late effort from Lewis Baker handed Swansea City their 13th second tier defeat of the season. Their last victory came mid-way through this month, thanks to Matthew Sorinola’s 21st-minute effort and an own goal by Callum Connolly, seventeen minutes from time. It was their 11th Championship-win of the campaign.
Rotherham, on the other hand, defeated Sunderland, in their last outing, courtesy of goals from Oliver Rathbone and Shane Ferguson. It was Matt Taylor’s side’s eighth league-win of the season. Nine points and just two defeats have come from their most recent seven outings. However, the Millers’ away record hasn’t been very great this term having won just two games from 17 matches on the road . Matt Taylor is another manager who has been under pressure to keep his job this campaign, winning just five of his opening 24 matches at the New York Stadium.
