Wolves secured a 2-0 win over mid-table side Brentford last time out, while the hosts are heading into the match on the back of a 3-1 defeat against second-placed Manchester City last weekend.
Wolverhampton Wanderers will be bidding to make it three consecutive wins in the Premier League when they travel to King Power Stadium on Saturday to take on Leicester City. Wolves secured a 2-0 win over mid-table side Brentford last time out, while the hosts are heading into the match on the back of a 3-1 defeat against second-placed Manchester City last weekend. As of now, the Foxes are languishing 19th spot in the English top tier standings, having taken just 25 points from 31 games, two points away from safety. The visitors, meanwhile, are sitting at the 13th position, with 34 points to their name, seven clear of the drop zone.
“We can’t play with any fear this weekend, and we won’t.”

Dean Smith’s first game in charge of Leicester unsurprisingly ended in a defeat against the reigning champions Man City last weekend. Pep Guardiola’s side raced into three-goal lead inside the opening 25 minutes courtesy of John Stones’s opener and Erling Haaland’s brace. Although, the Foxes pulled one back through Kelechi Iheanaco’s 75th-minute effort, Leicester condemned to their 20th Premier League defeat of the season and they are now winless in their last ten games across all competitions, losing nine of them. The Foxes have won only seven top flight games this season and their last success came against Tottenham Hotspur back in February.
Wolves, on the other hand, are in pretty good form having taken seven points from their last three outings. Julen Lopetegui’s side secured their ninth league-win of the season against tenth placed Brentford last weekend, courtesy of two unanswered goals from Diego Costa and Hwang Hee-Chan. Meanwhile, the Wanderers have won only two of their 15 top flight games on the road this term and they have won only one of their 25 away league visits to Leicester and suffered a 4-0 thrashing in the reverse fixture in October last year at Molineux Stadium. Nevertheless, Saturday’s trip to King Power Stadium represents arguably the most favourable-looking remaining fixture for Wolves ahead of a potentially tricky run against Crystal Palace, Brighton, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Everton and Arsenal in the final stretch.
Leicester City probable starting lineup: Iversen, Castagne, Souttar, Faes, Kristiansen, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndidi, Tielemans, Tete, Vardy, Maddison
Wolves probable starting lineup: Sa, Semedo, Kilman, Dawson, T.Gomes, Lemina, J.Gomes, Nunes, Cunha, Costa, Sarabia
