Although Middlesbrough came out all guns blazing in the second-half and restored their lead through Josh Coburn’s second of the night on the hour-mark and Sam Greenwood’s 64th-minute strike, Whittaker’s 77th-minute equaliser meant the points were shared at Home Park.
