Leicester City will be bidding to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they travel to Elland Road on Tuesday night to take on Leeds United. The Foxes secured a 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out on Saturday, while the hosts are heading into the match on the back of a 2-1 defeat away to Fulham. The victory helped the visitors to move out of the relegation zone and into the 17th spot in the English top tier standings, having collected 28 points from 32 games, level on points with 18th-placed Everton, who are in the drop zone courtesy of an inferior goal-difference, and just a solitary point behind Tuesday’s opponents, sitting in the 16th position.

Leeds United suffered their third consecutive defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Second-half efforts from Harry Wilson and Andreas Pereira propelled the Cottagers into the 2-0 lead before a late own goal by Joao Palhinha gave the Whites a glimmer of hope. However, there was no way back for Javi Garcia’s side, who have now lost 17 top flight games this season. The Peacocks have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this term, having conceded 63 goals so far, while 13 of those goals have been conceded in the last three outings.
Leicester, on the other hand, won their 8th top flight victory of the season against Wolves on Saturday thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho’s 37th-minute equaliser from the penalty spot and Timothy Castagne’s winner 15 minute from time. The result ended the Foxes’s ten-game winless streak across all competitions, losing nine in the period. On a positive note, Leicester defeated Leeds 2-0 in the reverse fixture in October last year courtesy of Robin Koch’s own goal inside the opening 15 minutes and Harvey Barney’s 35th minute effort.
