Indonesia and Thailand will go head-to-head in an AFF Championship fixture at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Thursday. Both sides have won their respective opening two games to be sitting at the top of Group A. Indonesia are occupying second position, with six points to their name from two matches, level with the War Elephants, who are at the summit of the table, but separated by goal-difference. The Garudda’s Team beat Cambodia 2-1 before hammering Brunei 7-0 on Monday. Thailand, meanwhile, started off with a 5-0 win over Brunei before demolishing Philippines 4-0 in their second match.

Probable Lineups 

Egy Vikri, who has scored two goals and provided one assist in the tournament thus far, is likely to be the key player for Indonesia. Montenegro-born striker Ilija Spasojevic will continue to spearhead the attack, with Saddil Ramdani and Dendy Sulistyawan occupying the flanks. As for Thailand Teerasil Dangda is their top goalscorer in this tournament, with three goals and two assists to his name. The 34-year-old would partner Adisak Kraisorn up front, with Sarach Yooyen and Theerathon Bunmathan pulling the strings in the midfield.
