As for Austin FC, they will be looking to reverse their fortunes as they are on a winless run in their last two fixtures. They also fell to 4-1 defeat in a friendly against Mexican side, Pachuca in their latest fixture. Consequently, their confidence will be low heading into the game against Montreal. At the end of May, LA Galaxy also made them lose embarrassingly 4-1. They find themselves at the fourth position in the Western Conference Table and will look to gain momentum back with a win over Montreal. They have a positive stat to back them as they as they scored the joint-most away goals in the division. This will undoubtedly give them some confidence in their quest for another away success.
Montreal will miss the services of Tomas Giraldo and Djordje Mihailovic who are sidelined due to injury woes at least until the end of June. Mason Toye, also remains unavailable due to a long-period shoulder worry. This will prove a major hurdle for the hosts as they look to extend their winning run.
