Azerbaijan, meanwhile, are out of the race for qualification and therefore would be motivated to earn the win which would see them secure second position in the group. In their last outing against Slovakia, goals from Renat Dadashov and Hojjat Haghverdi helped Milli take all three points at Anton Malatinsky stadium. Kazakhstan, on the other hand, defeated Belarus on Thursday, courtesy of goals from Mikhail Gabyshev and Bakhtiyar Zaynutdinov. Meanwhile, the Hawks finished the match with a man less as Askhat Tagybergen received a red card in the 94th-minute. It was Kazakhstan’s fourth win in five Nations League games this term.
