Stevenage , on the other hand, defeated Gateshead and King’s Lynn Town in the previous rounds to reach this far in the FA Cup. However, the boro have not progressed beyond the third round of the prestigious tournament since the 2-13-14 season. Nevertheless, the League Two side bring a nine-game unbeaten to their first ever meeting with Aston Villa. Stevenage have won 15 of their 24 league-games thus far. The Boro, got the better of Gillingham in their last outing, courtesy of Carl Piergianni’s header, halfway into the opening half.
