WWE SummerSlam 2023 Match Card, rumors and predictions

One of WWE SummerSlam’s marquee events travels to Ford Field in Detroit. As the day of SummerSlam, which is on Saturday, Aug. 5, approaches, the card is starting to take shape. For the summer extravaganza, three matches have been finalized, and several significant matches are still being finalized. Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar will finish their trilogy, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will rematch for the world title from Money in the Bank, and Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler will cause friendships to fall apart.

Predictions 

Undisputed Tag Team Championships

It’s difficult to believe that WWE would exclude two highly regarded superstars like Owens and Zayn from back-to-back huge events. On the Raw broadcast of July 17, Owens and Zayn successfully defended their championships against Priest and Mysterio. However, not much else has been hinted at for the tag team division.

Intercontinental Championship

A one-on-one matchup was started when McIntyre made his significant comeback at Money in the Bank to take on intercontinental champion Gunther. One of the greatest matches in WrestleMania history was their triple threat, which also included Sheamus. Their duel ought to be entertaining.

Women’s World Championship

On the Raw programme of July 17, Ripley and Rodriguez got into a fight backstage that might have hinted at a championship match between the two heavyweights. Backstage, Ripley attacked Rodriguez. Rodriguez and Morgan lost the women’s tag team titles to Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green due to a plot-related injury Rodriguez sustained.
