To close Smackdown on an unexpected note, Jey Uso eventually turned on Roman Reigns and attacked the Tribal Chief. The previous tag team champion resolved to stick up for his twin brother Roman, who had apparently persuaded Jey to join him, and assaulted him. The Usos superkicked Roman Reigns to bring the night to a close. Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Solo Sikoa all won three belts during the main event segment. “Wiseman” Heyman left the ring with two titles in hand after Jey whirled around to superkick the champion to finish him off. Additionally, the Usos superkicked Solo Sikoa, their brother.

The Bloodline

When Roman Reigns made his comeback at SummerSlam 2020 as a heel, The Bloodline was born. On the next Smackdown, Paul Heyman joined him, and a week after SummerSlam’s Payback, he was crowned the Universal Champion. Jey Uso unsuccessfully contested the championship against Roman. Jey complied, and Roman established his Bloodline. Jimmy Uso joined them after his return in 2021.

The Usos added the Smackdown tag team championships to their collection of victories. After making his debut at Clash at the Castle in 2022, Solo Sikoa joined The Bloodline. Sami Zayn joined The Bloodline last year as well, although he later left the organization after assaulting Roman at Royal Rumble 2023. Now, only Roman, Solo, and Paul remain in The Bloodline.

Jey doesn’t like Heyman

Whether in WWE or elsewhere, Paul Heyman has one of the best minds in the annals of professional wrestling. He started off as a photographer and later rose to become one of history’s greatest managers. He also steered ECW to a point where it was the third-largest wrestling organization in the country. Heyman, The Wiseman of The Bloodline, wields considerable power as Roman’s lieutenant. He and Jey do not get along, even so.

They frequently argue and, more recently, they even argued about Jey’s place in the group. Paul has consistently made an effort to control Jey. Heyman’s deception unfortunately backfired. Jey’s decision to become a villain was likely made easier when he realized that his previous WWE General Manager wasn’t someone who could be trusted. Roman was also obviously not going to give up Paul as Jey required if he wanted to succeed him as Tribal Chief.
