WWE legend, The Undertaker had some choice words for Kevin Owens ahead of WrestleMania 38 showdown with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The Phenom gave his opinion at NASCAR’s EchoPark Automotive Texas Grand Prix. He said that Austin is someone who shouldn’t be messed with. “Well in the immortal words of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Kevin Owens has got to be one stupid son of a b***h. I don’t care where you’re from, you don’t mess with the Texas Rattlesnake. He ain’t been in the ring in 19 years, you don’t think he’s gonna be bringing lumber with him. I don’t know what KO is thinking.”

He also added that you don’t do stupid things just to be on the WrestleMania card. “I know you wanna be on the biggest card of the year, in the showcase of the immortals, but you don’t go kicking beehives, you don’t stick your hand in a beehive, and that’s exactly what he’s done. You’re gonna get stung. I know he’s not gonna get stung, he’s gonna get stunned. I pity him. I mean, he brought this on himself. You don’t mess with Texas and you don’t mess with the Texas Rattlesnake. KO it’s gonna be a long night when you come face to face with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin,” said Taker.

Modern wrestlers lack grit

The Undertaker thinks that modern wrestling lacks the ‘grit’, referencing Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton as examples of what the current crop of talent is missing. The Phenom was a guest on the True Geordie Podcast when he gave his thoughts on the current generation lacking the grit that his generation used to have.

He said, “I feel like there is a level of grit that is missing from today’s product. I don’t know that it’s anybody’s fault, we all aged out and that new group has come up. When you watch Brock (Lesnar) wrestle, you’re interested because you know, he’s got this background not only as an amateur wrestler, professional wrestler, mixed martial artist. Brock doesn’t do a bunch of crazy moves, Brock manhandles your ass. You get in there and you get thrown around and you get smashed. You know, and Roman (Reigns) has a little bit of that to him, and when he wants to Randy (Orton) has that to him when he wants to.”
