The major provider of sports entertainment has announced WWE Payback’s comeback on their official social media accounts. After a three-year hiatus, the company will once again host the exclusive live event. Why is Payback important to Roman Reigns despite the fact that there are a lot of big events every year? Roman Reigns altered the course of the match at SummerSlam 2020 by assuming the identity of The Tribal Chief. Bray Wyatt was slated to defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns on August 30th, 2020 at Payback. Due to the fact that Reigns had not signed the contract to appear, the bout at the expensive live event initially started as a singles contest.
But when the contest came to a close, both the ring and the participants were annihilated. Reigns decided that this was the ideal time to act, so he went up to the platform, signed the agreement, and then entered the contest. He quickly pin-pointed Braun Strowman to win the Universal Championship. The genesis of Roman Reigns’ title run, which has lasted more than a thousand days, was the match at Payback.
Since his early encounters with Bobby Lashley prior to WrestleMania, Bray Wyatt has not been seen. A few months after his spectacular comeback to WWE, there were rumors that he had injured himself. In August leading up to WWE Payback would be the ideal time for Wyatt to rejoin the organization. In 2020, Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt to win the championship at the same expensive live event. He was never given a rematch, though.

His reappearance can ignite a fierce rivalry among the spectators. When it comes to creating characters and conveying stories, both superstars are at another level. If it does, the conflict might end up being the year’s most interesting story. According to rumors, Wyatt won’t be the character we saw him grow from Extreme Rules forward; instead, he’ll return as The Fiend. This game has been in the works for three years and is what the supporters want.
