Randy Orton is well known all around the world for his finisher RKO. The Viper is one of the best in-ring wrestlers, with excellent promo skills. In wrestling, there are many different storylines that may be told, and some of them can be rather dramatic. The finest stories are usually the most intimate, with a wrestler’s life behind the camera being shared on occasion. WWE wanted to do it again with Orton, but it turns out he didn’t like the notion.

Work is work and Family is family

Former WWE creative member Matt McCarthy revealed a story about a potential WrestleMania plot on a recent episode of the Universal Wrestling Podcast. Former WWE official Eric Pankowski speculated that Orton’s wife and daughter were mentioned by an anonymous wrestler. Orton’s remark, according to McCarthy, was similar to “Why don’t we keep my f***ing work at my f***ing work? Leave my f***ing family in my f***ing family’s house.”

McCarthy said, Randy Orton was not at please with the udea and told to keep his family away from his work.“Whoever his opponent was was gonna mention Randy’s wife and Randy’s daughter. I believe that this was the scenario, and Randy blew his stack… Randy’s just like, ‘Why don’t we keep my f***ing work at my f***ing work? Leave my f***ing family in my f***ing family’s house,’ or something like that. It was just like, ‘Wow, I don’t think Randy likes this idea.’ That was wild.”
