Kevin Owens has been on a wind-up tour of late. He has been talking trash to Stone Cold Steve Austin whom he will meet for a special edition of the KO Show at WrestleMania 38.
On a recent episode of RAW, Owens came out dressed as Austin by donning a bald cap and the Austin 3:16 shirt in an effort to mock the Texas Rattlesnake. The crowd took the bait when Austin’s music hit, but were left disappointed when Owens came out.
In a recent conversation with Daniel Cormier and Ryan Clark, the Canadian wrestler said that he was happy to have angered the fans and said that he is having a lot of fun. He said, “It’s really funny because that’s really not the kind of stuff I’m used to doing. That’s happened before when one of the wrestlers would dress up as someone else, like their rivals. The Miz did it a few years ago, DX has done it, a couple of people have done it and done it well. It was me stepping out of my comfort zone a little, but I figured it was the most impactful thing I do going into the match or confrontation, but it ended up being a lot of fun. I think I pissed a lot of people off, which is delightful.”

Meanwhile, The Undertaker had some choice words for Kevin Owens ahead of WrestleMania 38 showdown with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The Phenom gave his opinion at NASCAR’s EchoPark Automotive Texas Grand Prix. He said that Austin is someone who shouldn’t be messed with. “Well in the immortal words of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Kevin Owens has got to be one stupid son of a b***h. I don’t care where you’re from, you don’t mess with the Texas Rattlesnake. He ain’t been in the ring in 19 years, you don’t think he’s gonna be bringing lumber with him. I don’t know what KO is thinking.”
He also added that you don’t do stupid things just to be on the WrestleMania card. “I know you wanna be on the biggest card of the year, in the showcase of the immortals, but you don’t go kicking beehives, you don’t stick your hand in a beehive, and that’s exactly what he’s done. You’re gonna get stung. I know he’s not gonna get stung, he’s gonna get stunned. I pity him. I mean, he brought this on himself. You don’t mess with Texas and you don’t mess with the Texas Rattlesnake. KO it’s gonna be a long night when you come face to face with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin,” said Taker.
