WWE is the biggest professional wrestling promotion in the world. WWE easily generates $1 Billion every year in revenue. So, the big question is who is the owner of WWE or who owns WWE? The answer is simple Vince McMahon is not the owner now. Titan Sports, Inc. (now WWE) was founded in 1980 by Vincent K. McMahon and his wife Linda in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, and trademarks for the initials “WWF” (now WWE) were sought. The firm was founded on February 21, 1980, in the offices of the Cape Cod Coliseum and later relocated to Holly Hill Lane in Greenwich, Connecticut.

WWE was sold to Endeavour Group Holdings after about 70 years of ownership by the McMahon family. WWE and UFC, both owned by Endeavour, are joining forces to build a $21 billion “global live sports and entertainment company.” The acquisition valued UFC at $12.1 billion, while WWE was valued at $9.3 billion.

“Together, we will be a $21-plus billion live sports and entertainment powerhouse with a collective fanbase of more than a billion people and an exciting growth opportunity,” WWE executive chairman Vince McMahon said. “The new company will be well positioned to maximize the value of our combined media rights, enhance sponsorship monetization, develop new forms of content, and pursue other strategic mergers and acquisitions to further bolster our strong stable of brands.”

Endeavour currently holds a 51 per cent stake in WWE, with the remaining 49 per cent distributed among WWE stockholders. McMahon returned to the business in January 2023 as a member of the board of directors after leaving as WWE chairman, CEO, and head of creative in July 2022, fueling rumours of a potential sale.
