WWE has featured a lot of Goldberg over the last few years. The WCW great was able to establish a comparable reputation in WWE, confirming his eligibility for the WWE Hall of Fame. He is no longer as youthful as he once was, and the question “Who’s Next?” may no longer be able to be answered. Goldberg’s WWE contract is shortly coming to an end, and he may be prepared to retire at this point.

Two Months Remain on Goldberg’s WWE Contract

The famous professional wrestler would disclose his upcoming WWE contract expiration while chatting on the Roman Atwood Podcast. The following is what Goldberg is attributed to saying. “My relationship with WWE has never been a hundred percent on the up and up because I worked for a company competing against them in the Monday Night Wars, and I had the title right, so I don’t expect them ever to treat me like one of their own. I can’t remember what the point of this story was, but I’ve been hitting the head way too many times, quite obviously, as you can see in real-time……Stephanie McMahon, if you’re listening to this, my contract ends in two months, so don’t hold this against me.

Stephanie came up to me backstage one night, and she said, ‘I heard you’ve been headbutting the doors.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s how I gotta be me.’ She’s like, ‘I don’t want you to be headbutting any more doors.’ I put my head through a lot of things across the country from 94-97, and I guarantee you half of them are still there.”

As of right now, Goldberg was strangled out by WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns during his final bout in the WWE, which took place during the WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 PPV. In his 25-year career, that’s as good of a conclusion as he’s going to find, but there could be a good reason to give Goldberg one more match at WWE Survivor Series so he can go on a high note.
