Call up to the main roster

With the same ring name, he got promoted to the main roster and made his debut in June 2020, defeating AJ Styles in his first match on Smackdown Live. He received another opportunity against AJ styles, this time for the Intercontinental Championship, but lost. His first title win came in February 2021, when he defeated Bobby Lashley and John Morrison in a triple threat match at The Elimination Chamber Pay-per-View and became The United States Champion. He lost the title to Sheamus on night 2 of Wrestlemania 37.

RK-Bro

Currently, Riddle holds the Raw tag team Championship along with Randy Orton. Their team is called RK-BRO. The team had its roots in April when Riddle interrupted a backstage interview of Orton and suggested a tag team formation. Orton rejected the idea. Both developed a frivolous rivalry over the issue with Riddle constantly persuading Orton to form a team. Both had defeated the likes of Elias and Jackson Ryker and hurt Business. But Orton still rejected the idea on several occasions. But as the feud between Randy Orton and AJ styles with Omos continued to grow, Riddle was able to secure the trust of Orton when he saved him from an attack from the duo, who were the tag team champions.

Winning tag team gold

This led to the official formation of RK-BRO and the team went on to win the Raw tag team championships from AJ styles and Omos at Summerslam 2021. The team has been loved by the audience because of happy to go character of Riddle co-existing with a serious and self-cantered Orton. The team eventually lost the titles to the Alpha Academy but was later able to regain them by winning against Alpha academy and the team of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens, starting their second reign.

Is Riddle related to Randy Orton?

No, Riddle is not related to Randy Orton but they have developed a very strong bond over the past few months. Their friendship evolved over a couple of years as Orton didn’t like him at first. During a discussion with Ariel Helwani, Orton said, “He’s a real-life loveable dude. It’s so funny because I hated his guts at first. He came across as highly disrespectful. He never came up and said Hi. There’s a lot of reasons. He’s always in a good mood. That’s good for me. If I’m around negativity, you’re going to suck me down with you. I kind of match energy. Riddle has the energy. He gives it 110%.”
