Following WrestleMania weekend, Cody Rhodes wants to know his 'future with WWE'

Cody Rhodes had his biggest chance in WWE when he faced Roman Reigns for the belts at WrestleMania 39 Night Two. However, The American Nightmare was unable to complete his narrative. Rhodes said today that he would discuss his future on a forthcoming edition of Monday Night RAW.

In an Instagram post-Saturday, Rhodes said that his loss to Roman Reigns at last Sunday’s WrestleMania 39 “was not the result I’d hoped for, and I know many fans were disappointed as well. He then went onto thank a slew of people from the McMahon family to Brandi Rhodes to Kevin Dunn to Nick Khan to John Cena and the fans who attended last weekend’s events.

Fans were devastated when Rhodes was unable to win and was eventually killed by The Beast Incarnate. Following the events of WrestleMania 39 and RAW, The American Nightmare broke his silence over his future today. Look at this:

“A long week. I know last Sunday was not the result I’d hoped for, and I know many fans were disappointed as well. I make no excuses. I lost. I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you how much I enjoyed the ride…until Sunday night, and furthermore Monday night.”

Cody Rhodes thanks Triple H

He also thanked Triple H, Nick Khan, and many others for the love and opportunity. “I would like to thank @thebrandirhodes @wwe , the city of Los Angeles, Matt Rolf, @bradkolowichjr, @sgovintage , @jtcervero , HHH, The McMahon Family, Bruce, Conrad, Kevin Dunn, Ryan W Ryan C Mustache Chad Brian James Ed K, John Cone, John Cena, and @makeawishamerica for allowing me the honor to induct 15 wishes into the Circle Of Champions, and many more names I may be forgetting…in addition Nick Khan for taking care of my family through the festivities.”

Rhodes also stated that he will discuss his future plans in WWE on Monday Night RAW. “Lastly, the almost 200k fans who attended the weekend overall…unwavering and motivating. I want to be your champion. This Monday I hope to speak about my future with WWE and what may be next for me.”
