1. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is one of the most notable wrestlers who moved from WWE to AEW. He is well-known for his appealing personality and outstanding in-ring abilities. When Jericho joined AEW in 2019, he took on the role of the company’s face. He is a former WWE Champion and future WWE Hall of Famer. He was the face of AEW’s first pay-per-view event, “Double or Nothing,” and he proved instrumental in building the company’s image and popularity.

2. Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose)

After quitting WWE in 2019, Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, made an immediate impact in AEW. Moxley’s departure from WWE was highly anticipated, and Moxley instantly rose to the top of AEW’s star power. Moxley has won the AEW World Championship and has been a part of major feuds because of his aggressive and unpredictable demeanor, displaying his wide range as a wrestler.

3. Cody Rhodes

Before entering the All Elite Wrestling world, Cody Rhodes, the son of wrestling icon Dusty Rhodes, enjoyed success in the WWE. After leaving WWE in 2016, Rhodes played a key part in the development of AEW. Rhodes has played both an executive and an in-ring performer in AEW. Rhodes has been involved in notable feuds and won championships, which have helped AEW flourish and succeed.

4. Daniel Bryan

Daniel surprisingly made his debut for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at the All Out pay-per-view on September 5, 2021, going up against The Elite, who had just added Adam Cole to their roster. After a fight broke out between the two teams after Kenny Omega successfully defended the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage, Daniel stepped in to help Jurassic Express and Christian Cage.

5. Malakai Black (formerly Aleister Black)

Under the ring name Malakai Black, Budgen made his first appearance in professional wrestling for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), cementing his heel image by hitting Arn Anderson and Cody Rhodes with the Black Mass. Black defeated Rhodes in his AEW debut on August 4 on the special Homecoming episode of Dynamite. After the match, Black retaliated against Rhodes by hitting him in the back with a crutch and knocking him unconscious. On September 22, Black would face Rhodes again at Grand Slam, again winning. Together with Brody King and Buddy Matthews, Black also now holds the title of AEW World Trios Championship.
