Early Life of Bad Bunny

Rapper, singer, and record producer Benito Antonio Ocasio, also known by his stage name Bad Bunny, was born in Puerto Rico on March 10, 1994. His mother, Lysaurie Ocasio, is a retired teacher, and his father, Tito Martnez, was a truck driver. Pop ballads, salsa, and merengue were among the musical styles his parents frequently listened to. Bad Bunny has two younger brothers, Bernie and Bysael.

He has said, “I wasn’t the kid who got involved in the streets. I liked to be at home with my family.” He was brought up by a devoted Catholic mother who took him to church every Sunday and performed in the church choir until he was thirteen years old. He grew fascinated with the musicians he heard on the radio after leaving the choir, especially Daddy Yankee and Héctor Lavoe. His stage name was originally a reaction to being made to wear a rabbit suit, which made him upset.

When talking about the Puerto Rico music industry, he said, “I’m from Vaja Baja, a small area that’s not a metropolis like San Juan where the majority of the genre’s artists have come from.”

Bad Bunny and fellow Puerto Rican wrestler Damian Priest teamed up to help Bad Bunny defeat Akira Tozawa for WWE 24/7 Championship. Bad Bunny made his professional wrestling debut during WrestleMania 37 by partnering with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz and John Morrison in a tag team bout.

During Royal Rumble 2022, Bad Bunny made a comeback to the WWE. Bad Bunny made it to the top five before getting knocked out by Brock Lesnar, who had already eliminated Sheamus and Dolph Ziggler. It was announced that a pre-order bonus for WWE 2k23, Bad Bunny would be a playable wrestler on January 23, 2023.
