John Randall Hennigan (born October 3, 1979) a.k.a John Morrison is a professional wrestler and actor from the United States. He is well recognised for his tenure with WWE, where he was a paid performer from 2002 to 2011, then again from 2019 to 2021.
Hennigan won Tough Enough III and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), the company’s developmental region, to continue his wrestling training. In April 2005, Hennigan was promoted to the WWE SmackDown roster under the ring name Johnny Nitro, and he won the WWE Tag Team Championship in his first bout on the programme (as a part of the tag team, MNM). Hennigan worked as a lead or main event wrestler in a number of independent wrestling outfits before joining WWE.
John Morrison has won the ECW World Championship, the AAA Mega Championship, the Impact World Championship, and the Lucha Underground Championship. He was also a three-time Intercontinental Champion and a six-time tag team champion in WWE (one World Tag Team Championship, four WWE Tag Team Championships, and one SmackDown Tag Team Championship). Morrison was a mainstay on Lucha Underground for all four seasons, and he was AAA’s first-ever triple champion, holding the AAA Mega Championship, AAA Latin American Championship, and AAA World Cruiserweight Championship all at the same time. He’s headlined many WWE and Impact pay-per-view events, including the latter’s main event, Bound for Glory, in 2017 and 2018.

Tough Enough III, a reality-based tournament, catapulted John Morrison into the WWE. Morrison debuted in the WWE under the ring name Johny Nitro and competed in the Tag Team division. Soon after, he formed the MNM faction alongside Melina and Joey Mercury. Three times, John Morrison would win the Tag Team Championship.
They defeated Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio to win their first Tag Team championships. Later, the faction split off from Joey, and he and Melina joined RAW. Nitro soon began to compete in singles battles and was a contender for the Intercontinental Championship. After defeating Shelton Benjamin, he began his first WWE reign. After that, Johhny Nitro won the Intercontinental Championship on two occasions.
Morrison then formed a partnership with Miz. Over the next few months, Morrison and Miz enjoyed a string of successful championship defences. They had a fight with Cryme Tyme as well. The tag team titles were won by Miz and Morrison over CM Punk and Kofi Kingston. After that, he defeated Rey Mysterio in the third bout to win the Intercontinental Championship.
He returned to RAW on April 26 and was embroiled in a rivalry with Sheamus after assisting Santino Marella. He also defeated Sheamus at one time to become the WWE Championship’s number one contender. Unfortunately, John Morrison’s efforts were unsuccessful. After a Falls Count Anywhere bout with The Miz, he was fired from WWE.
The Miz and Morrison challenged Bad Bunny and Damian Priest at Wrestlemania 37 but were defeated. Morrison went on a solo streak when Miz suffered an injury, defeating Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton. He was dismissed from his WWE contract on November 18, 2021.

John Morrison’s wife is Kira Renée Magnin-Forster or also known as Taya Valkyrie. They got married in 2018. Also, Valkyrie is a fellow wrestler like Morrison.

Morrison began to dress bizarrely, and he added Drip Drip to his name so that fans could sing it. It was well received by the WWE Universe, who joyously chanted along with it. Morrison capitalised on this by employing water pistols to further amplify the term.
