The WWE has seen a lot of wrestlers turn into legends but none more so than the “Immortal” Hulk Hogan. Hogan was a bonafide superstar from the beginning of his career and his aura was second to none.
From his character to his promo delivery, everything was on point as Hogan quite simply became the face of the WWE for 2 decades until his retirement. Coupled with his singles career, the Hulkster was involved in some stables too. The most famous of them was the New World Order (NWO) with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
Hogan feuded with some absolute legends of the game. In this article, we take a look at some of his best rivalries.
Hogan’s rivalry with Randy Savage was one of the best rivalries in the history of wrestling. The two men started off as a tag team and achieved success but their talents were such that they couldn’t be limited to tag team action.
Their rivalry was fueled largely by the allegation that Hogan was “lusting after” Savage’s manager Miss Elizabeth. An epic showdown for the ages ensued at WrestleMania V which the Hulkster won.

The People’s Champ took on the Hulkster at WrestleMania 18 in what truly was a crowd electrifier. It was icon vs icon and it basically pitted the greatest star of the 80s (Hulk Hogan) against the greatest star of the 90s (The Rock).
The crowd was absolutely insane as two legends went at it as soon as the bell rang. Honestly speaking, what made the match so great was the reaction of the crowd to every move the two superstars made. The Rock defeated Hulk Hogan and after the match, the NWO came out and attacked Hogan. The Rock came to the rescue and helped Hogan fend them off. They teamed up after that and had a lot of great moments.
Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan were good mates and were involved in a tag team match when after the match, Michaels turned on the Hulkster. That obviously caught Hogan off guard and it led to a several month program where both the superstars traded insults.
HBK even got dressed up like Hogan and mocked the legend viciously. After several months of getting the fans to turn against him, The Heartbreak Kid took on Hogan in the main event of SummerSlam and lost in an epic match.
