Roman Reigns is the WWE Universal Champion for more than 870+ days and setting records. The last time Roman Reigns was pinned was over three years ago. This figure is astounding and calls for respect. Additionally, it indicates that he has amassed a sizable amount of victories, albeit even that is an understatement. He is to appear at WWE RAW is XXX and there are many rumors going on with many speculations being made. So, there are many opponents he can face but we will look at the most reasonable possibilities of who he may fight next and may lose his title.

Roman Reigns conquered the finest Superstars WWE had to offer throughout his 871-day title reign. Roman Reigns is now embroiled in a rivalry with Kevin Owens. He is to face Kevin Owens at WWE Royal Rumble for the WWE Universal Championship. Kevin Owens

The most potential opponent to dethrone Reigns is Kevin Owens as he has his chance and opportunity to dethrone “The Tribal Chief”. Kevin Owens has been extremely open about his desire to seek retribution on The Bloodline for months.

His unfinished business with the faction began when Roman Reigns defeated him three times in a row to retain the Universal Championship between December 2020 and January 2021, each time with help from Jey Uso. At Survivor Series on November 26, KO came close to winning the men’s WarGames championship by pinning Reigns, but Sami Zayn saved him.

The main issue here is that the Canadian would once again have to lose to The Tribal Chief, perhaps as a result of interference from someone from The Bloodline, even if Owens and Reigns have always gotten along well together and the match makes sense from a plot perspective. If not, though, we will be seeing THE NEW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins unexpectedly appeared as Reigns’ Royal Rumble foe last year. They then engaged in a brief but compelling feud for the Universal Championship, which resulted in a fantastic battle at the pay-per-view. The former AEW star, who has been out since June, has been training with “elite trainers” to gain bulk and get to a healthy 240 pounds. Even with the extended injury hiatus, Rhodes has remained a prominent figure in wrestling in 2022.

He quit his Executive Vice President job and returned to the organization he initially left in 2016 at WrestleMania 38 after switching from AEW to WWE earlier in the year. This sparked a rivalry with Seth Rollins that resulted in three tremendously well-received premium live event matches.

Until the competition on January 28, he will continue to be a strong favorite in the Royal Rumble 2023. There is a huge chance that Rhodes may win the Royal Rumble. For the past several years, there has been chatter about WWE wanting The Rock to return for one more encounter to face his cousin Roman Reigns.

The Rock vs. Reigns is a bout that WWE hopes to book for WrestleMania 39, but it hasn’t been finalized due to The Rock’s schedule. The Rock said that he is the Head of the Table when questioned during his appearance on E! News The Rundown. He said, “Who is the head of the table? Without saying any names, you’re looking into his eyes right now.”

Also, recently it is been speculated that The Rock will appear at The RAW is XXX which is creating quite a hype in the WWE universe.
