Roman Reigns exists in a different world than his contemporaries. He claims he is in God mode while everyone else has been operating at a high level. That is a fact that is equally undeniable as his WWE Universal Championship.

In fact, Reigns, who is currently the WWE’s top champion, is adding his name to the list of all-time greats. Many have attempted to strip him of his WWE and Universal Championships, but he has defeated them all. We meant “smashed,” sorry Tribal Chief. Although The Head of the Table has a long list of accomplishments, we believe that his tenure as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion takes the cake.

How long has Roman Reigns been the universal champion?

Roman Reigns last fought Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel

The last time Roman Reigns was pinned was over three years ago. This figure is astounding and calls for respect. Additionally, it indicates that he has amassed a sizable amount of victories, albeit even that is an understatement.

Logan Paul, a popular YouTuber, was Reigns’ last challenger for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Back in November, the two guys engaged in combat in a highly entertaining encounter that had several close calls and dramatic situations.

Paul immediately engaged The Tribal Chief in combat. He performed a series of daring maneuvers that put his opponent on the defensive. After that, Reigns took charge and started to wear him down, but he was unable to get him to the ground. The winner was immediately forced on the defense after a furious comeback.

Chaos developed in Saudi Arabia as a result of The Bloodline’s and Jake Paul’s influence. Reigns took advantage of the diversion to attack Paul with a spear and pin him, retaining his championship in a tense and tight match.

Reigns surpasses GUNTHER’s record

In his role as Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has now added another achievement to his resume. The Tribal Chief won the Universal Championship for a second time at Payback 2020 by defeating The Fiend and Brown Strowman in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat match. Reigns became the first Superstar to concurrently hold both the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. He may brag about another record at the moment.

With 871 days as the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns has now outlasted GUNTHER’s previous record of 870 days as the NXT UK champion. Wrestling Stats & Info posted about the statistic on Twitter.
