Just like in his political life, Trump was quite a divisive figure during his time in the WWE. He took on none other than the chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon and had a lot of memorable moments.
In 2007, if someone told you that a WWE personality would go on to become the President of the United States, you would have had a hearty laugh and rightly so. That is exactly what happened when Donald Trump was elected as the 45th President of the United States. Just like in his political life, Trump was quite a divisive figure during his time in the WWE. He took on none other than the chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon and had a lot of memorable moments. On the day of his birthday, we take a look at some of Donald Trump’s most memorable moments in the WWE.

Vince McMahon and Donald Trump were involved in a bitter feud dubbed as the ‘Battle of the Billionaires.’ At WrestleMania 23, both the billionaires put their hair on the line as Bobby Lashley went head to head with Umaga with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the guest referee. There was a moment in the match where Trump attacked Vince in proper wrestling fashion. Lashley went on to defeat Umaga and that meant Vince had to get his head shaved. Trump and Lashley then went on to lather up Mr McMahon’s hair and started to shave it off. The look on Vince’s face was worth watching and the fans loved every bit of the action.

We go back to WrestleMania 23 again and this time it’s in the backstage area where Trump is with former Miss USA Tara Conner. Donald was his usual self, complaining to someone on the phone about how poorly Vince McMahon had treated him and that he was not even given food or water. Then out of nowhere, The Boogeyman appeared from behind the couch. He scared Miss Conner out of the room but Trump was not scared one bit. He kept telling The Boogeyman that he was hungry and ordered him to get food.

Without a doubt, Trump shaving Vince McMahon’s head was one of the best things of WrestleMania 23. With Stone Cold Steve Austin as the referee, there was no way that Vince would have it easy. After the match as Trump was celebrating his and Bobby Lashley’s victory, Austin gave him a can of beer which he threw away. Stone Cold did not take kindly to this and went on to give Trump a stunner. It was a harsh lesson for Donald that no matter whose side you are on, you can never trust the Texas Rattlesnake.
