In the ever-competitive world of professional wrestling, one name has stood out in recent times Becky Lynch. Her return to the WWE NXT scene has not only ignited excitement but also sparked a remarkable surge in viewership and TV ratings for the program.

According to data published by Wrestlenomics, the recent episode of WWE NXT on a Tuesday night drew an average of 850,000 viewers overall marking a substantial 26 percent increase from the previous week’s episode. This surge in viewership has propelled WWE NXT to heights it hasn’t seen in years, with the total viewership reaching levels not witnessed since October 28, 2020.

A significant portion of this viewership boost came from the coveted key demographic of people aged 18-to-49, with 335,000 viewers falling into this category. This translated to a 0.26 P18-49 rating, representing a remarkable 40 percent increase from the previous week and marking the highest rating for “NXT” since September 1, 2020.

Becky Lynch’s impact was further magnified by her victory over Tiffany Stratton for the “NXT” Women’s Championship in the main event of Tuesday night’s episode. Quarter-hour data shared by Wrestlenomics revealed that the show gained over 200,000 viewers during the match, with viewership reaching its peak at an impressive 1.06 million during the show’s eight-minute overrun after 10 PM ET.

The influence of Becky Lynch extended beyond traditional television viewership. WWE’s YouTube channel also experienced a surge in engagement, with the clip of Lynch’s victory amassing nearly 400,000 views by Wednesday at 5 PM ET. This remarkable figure more than tripled the views of the next most-watched clip from the show.

The outstanding performance of Tuesday night’s “NXT” has placed the program in a position to challenge for a same-week TV ratings victory over its rival, “AEW Dynamite.” In the previous week, “Dynamite” had drawn an average of 887,000 viewers overall, with 409,000 falling into the P18-49 demographic.

The resurgence of “NXT” can be attributed in part to a recent influx of talent from WWE’s main roster, including members of The Judgment Day faction. Dominik Mysterio, in particular, has become a regular presence on the show since capturing the “NXT” North American Championship a few weeks ago.

Becky Lynch’s return to WWE NXT has undeniably injected new energy and excitement into the program, drawing both lapsed and new viewers back into the fold. Her magnetic presence, coupled with her in-ring prowess, has proven to be a ratings magnet, breathing fresh life into “NXT” and setting the stage for a potential showdown with rival promotion “AEW Dynamite.”
