Rob Van Dam spent the majority of his AEW Dynamite debut in his own private room, but from what RVD observed of the locker room, everything appeared to be cordial and pleasant. RVD said on One of a Kind, “It’s not quite the enormous, stressful production of WWE. It certainly doesn’t resemble a tiny independent show. somewhat in the middle, though more like WWE. According to RVD, the magnitude of AEW is equivalent to some of the international shows he has produced for Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan and the UK. People are moving around and appear to be content to be there.

‘Not the big stressful production of WWE’

Rob Van Dam discussed what he observed backstage at AEW on his One Of A Kind podcast. He claims to have seen many content individuals enjoying the company. “Nothing bad, you know. I’m just trying to think of what I could say about it that would make it different. It’s not the big stressful production of WWE, it’s definitely not a small little indie show either. It’s somewhere in between, but closer to WWE.” Expressed RVD.

“People are genuinely happy to be there”

RVD was of the opinion that in his illustrious career all over the world he has hardly seen people really happy about being somewhere. “But when I’ve done TV for international shows that my fans wouldn’t know about, like in the UK or Australia, maybe I would [compare it to that] as far as like the free air, people are walking around genuinely happy to be there. I don’t know how to describe it as being… I can’t think of anything that was like, outstanding.” Exclaimed RVD.

On the ninth episode of Dynamite in Columbus, Ohio, Rob Van Dam will compete against Jack Perry for the FTW Championship. RVD has promised to retire the unofficial title if he wins. The Lucha Bros versus The Blackpool Combat Club, The Hardys versus The Young Bucks, and Hikaru Shida defending the AEW Women’s Championship against Anna Jay are all scheduled for Dynamite in Columbus.
