The FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League’s fifth edition began on June 26th. Volleyball matches between international players take place regularly in the Nations League. The event’s dates are May 30 through July 16, 2023. The prestigious College Park Center in Arlington, Texas’s downtown, is the site of the competition’s decisive round. The top 16 nations from four volleyball federations will compete in the VNL.

The FIVB, the governing body of the sport, organizes an amazing international tournament between the best teams in the world. The FIVB Women’s Nations League match between Thailand and Japan will be held on 1st July 2023. There are two great teams taking part in this tournament. Thailand ranks fourteenth in the world and Japan seventh. In the 2022 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, Thailand and Japan finished eighth and seventh respectively. This time, first place in the standings led to attacks between the two teams.

What kind of structure will the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League have in 2023?

VNL 2023 competition takes place in three separate daily stages. To ensure a fair game between the 16 teams, the teams of the two groups rotate each week. Eight elite teams, selected after three weeks of intense fighting, will take part in the finals. During the group stage, each train takes part in twelve exciting matches. In addition, eight teams compete in an exciting knockout round. The order of these knockout rounds depends on the team’s performance in the round of 16. These grand tours will be held in various metropolitan areas including, for now, Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Suwon, Antalya, and Nagoya. The elimination rounds will run until July 2nd and mark the start of the thrilling knockout phase.
