Finishing second in the table, Poland secured 31 points from 12 matches. They won 10 and lost just twice in this competition.
Poland will be taking on the United States of America in the first semifinal of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League on Saturday. Both sides had a memorable tournament till now and have been one of the dominant and fearsome teams in the competition. Their records have also been identical in the competition and their final positions in the table are also not far away. Hence, it will be difficult to call a winner in this clash. Notably, the Americans have lost only twice in the competition till now and one of those defeats was against Poland at the end of last month.
Finishing second in the table, Poland secured 31 points from 12 matches. They won 10 and lost just twice in this competition. The European side had to overcome Iran in a hardly-fought clash in the quarterfinal, while the Americans overcame Brazil 3-1. The USA finished round one of the competition third in the standings, with 27 points from 12 games. Just like their opponent, they also lost just twice and won the remaining 10 matches. Poland will be confident going into this clash after beating the same opposition earlier in the tournament, while the USA will be keen to enact revenge when they face each other on Saturday.
