The FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League is currently in progress, starting on May 30 and scheduled to end on July 16, 2023. A total of 16 teams are participating in this tournament – 11 core and five challenger teams with the events being held in multiple locations, including Bangkok, Nagoya, Hong Kong, Brasilia, Antalya, and Texas. The final knockout matches of the VNL 2023 women’s league, featuring the top eight teams, will be held in Texas, United States, from July 12 to July 16, 2023. As the host country, the United States automatically qualifies for the knockout stage, regardless of their performance in the preliminary rounds. The competition is currently in its third week, which began on June 27 and will conclude on July 2, 2023.

Netherlands will take on Japan on June 30, 2023, in the third week of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand. The Netherlands is currently placed 11th on the team rankings having won three games in nine matches. On the other hand, Japan stands seventh in the standings with six wins in nine games and looks in a comfortable position to qualify for the knockout stage.
