In-form Japan are expected to continue their supreme reign in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League when they face the struggling Netherlands on Thursday. The Japanese women are the only team to not lose a single game in the competition till now. On the other hand, the Dutch side have won only one game all campaign and are not far away from the bottom. On paper, this should be a straight-forward affair for the Japanese, however, the Netherlands will be keen to build on their win from the last match.
Japan have accumulated 23 points from eight games till now in the competition. Having won all eight matches they have played till now, the Japanese side are expected to be a heavy favourite for the competition title. They will be coming up against a side who have struggled for form throughout the campaign. After losing the opening seven games, the Netherlands finally opened their account in their last game against South Korea.
