While some believe Ngannou will return to defend his title once he’s completely recovered, others believe his tense relationship with the UFC will drive him to a boxing match with Tyson Fury. There’s also the potential that he never fights again, but the 35-year-old quickly dismissed that thought when asked about it on social media.

Francis Ngannou understands what it’s like to endure hardship at the highest level, and despite a number of defeats in recent years, he’s never given up on his ultimate aim.
