Before that, the Argentine had participated in the Granby National Bank Championships. Unfortunately, she had to suffer a first round exit there as well after losing 7-5, 6-1 to Germany’s Tatjana Maria.
Kyoka Okamura will be entering the 2022 Chennai Open brimming with confidence as she was the victor of the recently concluded ITF South Korea 07A. Okamura beat second seed Peangtarn Plipuech in the final by a score of 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 to lift the crown and she will hope to carry that form into the Indian WTA event.
Nadia Podoroska vs Kyoka Okamura are scheduled to face each other in the round of 32 of the 2022 WTA Chennai Open on Tuesday, September 13. The tournament is scheduled to begin on September 12 and end on September 18.
