Juventus will reportedly meet playmaker Paulo Dybala this month to discuss his contract renewal, and they have come up with a new plan. The Argentine international has been Juventus’ one of the most important players in recent years and this season hasn’t been different. He has featured whenever he is fit enough to do so. Meanwhile the 28-year-old’s current contract with the Bianconeri expires at the end of the season, but the Serie A club doesn’t want to end his time in Turin yet.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Juve will meet with Dybala’s entourage later this month, possibly after the board meeting scheduled between February 23 to 25, where they will discuss his contract renewal, with a new plan in mind.

Dybala reportedly agreed a new contract with Juventus back in October, on the basis of a four-year deal worth EUR 8 million net per season plus EUR 2 million in add-ons, but pen was never put to paper.

Juve are willing to offer a similar offer again, although the add-ons may change, but they are expecting compromises regarding his agent Jorge Antun’s commission. The Bianconeri want Dybala entourage to give up on around EUR 4-5 million in commission, wanting to direct their funds directly to the player instead of the agents.

Dybala joined Juve from Palermo in 2015 and since then has become a vital player for them, scoring 98 goals and registering 42 assists in all competitions. This season also he has been in decent form, having netted seven times and provided four assists in the league so far.

Juve are currently fourth in the Serie a standings with 45 points from 24 games. With Dusan Vlahovic’s arrival from Fiorentina in the January transfer window, Juve are aiming to make a final burst and challenge for the title. If head coach Massimiliano Allegri could combine Vlahovic with Dybala, they could form a lethal attacking partnership.

The Argentine has great vision and good passing range while Vlahovic is a top class striker who can make those divisive forward runs and create space for himself in the opposition box. Meanwhile Vlahovic is also physically very strong and is good in the air.
