According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Isco. The Italian clubs are showing an interest in signing him on a Bosman move in the summer transfer window. The out of favor Spanish playmaker looks set to leave Los Blancos as a free agent. The 29-year-old joined Real Madrid in July 2013 and was widely regarded as one of the brightest young midfielders in Europe, but has failed to live upto the expectations.

Isco has had a topsy-turvy nine years in Santiago Bernabeu and his stock has fallen in the last few years. He has made just 11 appearances and garnered a playing time of only 342 minutes in the ongoing campaign so far.

The Spanish international has entered the final six months of his contract and looks set to leave as a free agent. Serie A could be Isco’s next destination with Milan and Juventus among his prospective suitors.

Isco is a highly talented midfielder and is incredibly skillful with the ball at his feet. He has the ability to get out of tight situations and open up the opposition defence with short passes. Although the 29-year-old isn’t the quickest on the field he can be extremely useful if used on the centre or left side of attack.

Juventus have already sent Aaron Ramsey on loan to Rangers and will hope to sell the Welshman in the summer. They are also keen on getting Adrien Rabbiot off their books, while Arthur’s future with the Bianconeri remains uncertain. Therefore Massimiliano Allegri is in need of a midfielder to provide a bit of creative spark in the middle of the park.

The interest from Milan comes in the wake of Brahim Diaz’ inconsistency since arriving on loan from Real Madrid. And with Franck Kessie set to leave the club in the summer, Stafano Pioli needs reinforcement in the central midfield.
