Juventus playmaker Paulo Dybala is still very optimistic about his team’s chances of winning the Scudetto despite being seven points behind leaders Napoli. The Argentine missed the last two games because of injury, forcing him to watch wins against Empoli and Fiorentina from the sidelines. Meanwhile his future with the Turin club is currently hanging in the balance with his contract set to expire at the end of the current season. A renewal has been drawn up but the pen has not been put to paper yet and there’s a genuine possibility that he’ll leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

According to a report by footballitalia.com, Dybala was speaking on the sidelines of the 17th Amici dei Bambini Tournament on Thursday and he said: “I’m fine now, I came back today, if the coach lets me play on Sunday I’m there, I want to play. I want to play in all of the games.”

Juve played out a 1-1 draw against Villarreal in the last-16 first leg clash at  El Madrigal on February 23 and will be aiming to get the better of the Spanish side in the second leg at home on March 17.

Dusan Vlahovic’s early goal was canceled out by Dani Parejo to make it all square going into the reverse fixture at Allianz stadium “It’s not easy because Villarreal are strong, but we’re playing at home and we want to win.”

He revealed that he still believes in Juventus’ title league hopes this campaign. “We have to play against Inter in Turin and I believe in the title, there are still many games left.”

With 11 more league games remaining for Juve, they have a realistic chance of challenging for the title. The Bianconeri will play third-placed Inter Milan on April 3 and a positive result could put them in a very good position to push for the Scudetto.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side are now unbeaten in their last ten games in all competitions and with the arrival of star striker Vlahovic from Fiorentina in the January transfer window they look like a lethal attacking unit. Allegri’s new-look front-three of Vlahovic down the centre with Dybala on the right and Alvaro Morata on the left seems to be working pretty well.

Vlahovic has been quick to make an impact as he has netted four goals in his first six appearances for Juve. His goal-scoring prowess combined with Dybala’s creativity and playmaking ability could help Juve make a late surge for the title.

Juventus will next face Spezia in the Serie A fixture on Sunday before taking on Sampdoria on March 12.
