Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has been voted Serie A player of the month for February by the Italian Footballers’ Association. The Serbian has been in superb form for the Turin club since his EUR 80 million move from Fiorentina in the January transfer window. Meanwhile last month has been incredible for the 22-year-old as he found the back of the net four times and registered one assist in his six appearances for the club. Vlahovic received almost 60% of the total AIC votes.

Vlahovic is currently sitting on top of the Serie A goal-scorers list for the 2021-22 season with 20 goals to his name, 17 of those were scored while he was with Fiorentina. He is one of the most talented strikers in world football right now and is expected to achieve greater heights in the future.
The 190cm tall striker is very good in the air, has great physical prowess, has good pace and has the knack of finding the back of the net from different situations. He is expected to be the leading figure in the post-Cristiano Ronaldo era at Juventus and he could be the difference maker in the top four race.
Juventus legend Pavel Nedved praised Vlahovic and likened him to Ronaldo. The former Czech Republic footballer believes Vlahovic is very “intelligent” and has it all takes to become a future superstar.
“I’ll be honest, Vlahovic surprised me too. There are comparisons to some of the tops like Cristiano Ronaldo. I knew he was a very good player, but he was born in 2000 and if he continues with this mentality, he can really do great things.
“I am convinced the future belongs to him. He is really intelligent, knows how to prepare for games, is very humble and that is so important for a player to become a champion. He really is on the right track. It is really nice when these young players who are hungry and humble come to ask you for advice. You feel useful.”
