Veteran leg-spinner Pravin Tambe never considered age as a factor to showcase his love and passion for the sport. And with that very mindset he went on to become an inspiration for one and many cricketing fans around the world.

On Friday, April 1, his journey came to light with a biopic made on him — ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe’ — which was released on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. Actor Shreyas Talpade, who had earlier played a similar role in the movie Iqbal, plays the main character of the underdog in the movie who goes on to fulfill his dreams while racing against time.

Tambe, himself, watched the biopic in a special screening with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad and other members during their break from the IPL 2022 matches on Thursday night.

Pravin Tambe: Never give up on your dreams

Tambe turned into his emotional self during the special screening of the movie as he took his time to regain composure, cheered up by the KKR members, and then sent out a strong message to his followers.

“I just want to say,” he said before breaking down.

“Just never give up on your dreams,” he said

“Dreams do come true. Really, dreams do come true,” he said.

“Lot of people know that I debuted when I was 41, but they don’t know what I did before that. So people will watch the movie and get to know and hopefully it will make them think that one should never give up,” Tambe said in the video.
