Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the match 25 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. SRH have clinched back-to-back victories against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) after losing their first two matches of the season. KKR have lost their last match against Delhi Capitals (DC) and will be hoping for a return to winning ways.

SRH looked like a well-balanced side in the last two outings as they totally outclassed CSK and GT. Openers Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma looked formidable in the last couple of matches. Also, the likes of Nicholas Pooran, Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram can devastate any bowling attack.

However, SRH will miss the services of Washington Sundar who is out for at least two matches following an injury. He has been a vital cog for the Hyderabad side with his bowling as well as batting skills. Spinners Shreyas Gopal and J Sujith are two options SRH can choose from.

KKR is a side that has the potential to win against any team in the IPL. They have won three out of five and are in the second position in the IPL table. Kolkata will be hoping for a bright start from their openers Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer. They have failed to bring consistency to their game and the main contributions have come from the middle and lower-middle order.

Kolkata’s bowling unit is easily one of the best in the IPL. Bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy can bring down any batting lineup.
