Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have had a great season in the IPL 2022 with seven wins and five defeats in the 12 games they have played so far. Notably, they are currently placed at the third position in the points table after facing a defeat to Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets.
Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bowl first. Put into bat, R Ashwin scored a steady fifty and Devdutt Padikkaal scored a stable 48 and helped their side to post 160 runs for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. Chetan Sakariya, Nortje and Mitchell Marsh scalped 2 wickets each for Delhi Capitals. While chasing, opener David Warner scored an unbeaten 52 whereas Mitchell Marsh played a quickfire knock of 89 off 62 which also included 5 fours and 7 sixes. Later, Rishabh Pant hit 2 sixes and took the team home that too within 18.1 overs and 8 wickets in hand as well.

Rajasthan Royals have always impressed everyone with their performances. While they have registered a few of the highest totals in IPL history and managed to cross the 200-run mark 14 times so far in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), they have registered a few lowest scores too as well. Their lowest score – 58 came in 2009 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They couldn’t reach the three-figure mark six times in the league so far as well.
