IPL 2022 KKR vs MI: Jasprit Bumrah, Nitish Rana breach IPL Level 1 Code of Conduct 

Mumbai Indians senior fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Kolkata Knight Riders batter Nitish Rana have been reprimanded for breaching IPL Level 1 code of conduct during their team's clash on Wednesday.

Mumbai Indians senior fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Kolkata Knight Riders batter Nitish Rana have breached  the IPL Level 1 Code of Conduct during their team’s clash in the IPL 2022 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Wednesday. 

Both Bumrah and Rana have admitted to their offence and accepted the sanctions laid against them by the organizing committee. However, their offences have not been clarified in the official media statement.

Jasprit Bumrah: What are the sanctions against the MI pacer? 

The senior India fast bowler has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL Level 1 Code of Conduct. There is no financial penalty against him but he has been warned against his actions. 

“Jasprit Bumrah from Mumbai Indians has been reprimanded for breaching the TATA Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Pune,” the official media statement said. 

“Mr Bumrah admitted to the Level 1 offence of the IPL Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction.”

Nitish Rana: What are the sanctions against the MI pacer? 

The experienced KKR batter has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL Level 1 Code of Conduct. He has been charged with 10 percent of his match-fee for his offensive conduct. 

“Nitish Rana from Kolkata Knight Riders has been reprimanded and fined 10 percent of his match-fee for breaching the TATA Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Mumbai Indians at Pune,” the official statement said. 

“Mr Rana admitted to the Level 1 offence of the IPL Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction.” 

KKR won the contest by five wickets with the Rohit Sharma-led franchise recording their third consecutive loss in IPL 2022.
