Gujarat Titans are currently comfortably seated in the second spot and a win will mean that they further consolidate their place in the IPL 2022 playoffs race. However, KKR, have seen a slump in form as they lost three matches on the trot and will be eager to clinch a victory in order to put their season back on track.
The debutant IPL side have made a fine start in the IPL with the franchise looking in fine rhythm and Hardik Pandya leading his troop by example. David Miller, Rahul Tripathi, Mohammed Shami have played key roles in their success story so far and will be keen on contributing in the same manner.
Iyer, meanwhile, will hope his opener Aaron Finch fires for the side with Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy making the most of their spin bowling efficiency along with Pat Cummins and Umesh Yadav wrecking havoc with the new ball.
