Top performers at the Hockey India Senior Women National Championships 2023 will have an opportunity to break into the Hockey India national program

The Hockey India Senior Women National Championships 2023, also the 13th edition of the championships, got underway in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh on February 15 and will run until February 26, 2023. The tournament will feature field hockey players from various states and Union Territories. The teams have been divided into eight different pools- starting from A to H. Top performers will have an opportunity to break into the Hockey India national program with a call-up for the National Coaching Camp, with National Selectors attentively observing these matches. The championships start with group stage matches and the tournament will witness 38 games in total. The group winners will progress to the Quarter Finals.
