The PGA TOUR Q-School, presented by Korn Ferry, is scheduled to be held from December 14 to December 17, 2023. It will take place at the Dye’s Valley Course at TPC Sawgrass and Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The competing golfers have a chance to win from a total prize fund of $510,000. The event is crucial as the top five finishers, along with those who tie, after completing four rounds (72 holes) will earn their PGA TOUR memberships for 2024. Additionally, the following 40 players (and ties) will gain assured spots in the Korn Ferry Tour. Moreover, the next 20 players (and ties) will secure guaranteed spots in the PGA TOUR Americas.
The occasion is the first instance since 2012 that PGA TOUR cards are being distributed through Q-School. The final Stage, spanning four days from Thursday to Sunday, comprises 72 holes split between the Dye’s Valley Course and Sawgrass Country Club. Each golfer will play two rounds on each course, and there will be no cut. Back in 2012, the event was won by Lee Dong-hwan.
