After taking just ten points from their first eight Championship games, West Brom have managed to turn the tables, recording seven wins from their last ten outings. The Baggies have won nine second tier fixtures this term and their latest success came away to Cardiff thanks to Jeremy Sarmiento’s lone goal five minutes into the second-half. Moreover, the Albion are unbeaten in their last six games at the Hawthorns, scoring eight goals and keeping five clean sheets in the process.
Leicester, on the other hand, headed to bottom side Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday night hoping to take all three points, but the Owls came up with a spirited performance to earn point against the leaders. Enzo Marseca’s side took the lead through Abdul Fatwa’s 23rd-minute opener, and managed to hold on to the lead for a large part of the game, until Jeff Hendrick scored an added time eqauliser to share the spoils. Meanwhile, Leicester’s most recent encounter with West Brom was back in April 2021 with the Foxes winning 3-0 thanks to Jamie Vardy, Kelechi Iheanacho and Jonny Evans.
