Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal will begin their World Cup campaign on Thursday against Ghana at Stadium 974. The European nation has one of the most exciting squads among the 32 teams that have made it to Qatar. They have immense quality from back to front, with most of their players establishing themselves as regulars in top European clubs. However, the headline surrounding Portugal talisman Ronaldo in recent days has been for the wrong reason following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan about Manchester United. However, with Ronaldo set to leave Old Trafford and the matter seems to be resolved, Portugal fans will hope that incident will not act as a distraction for their star striker or the rest of his teammates.
