PSG lost to in-form side Rennes at Parc des Princes in their last outing before the international break courtesy of goals from Karl Toko Ekambi and Arnold Kalimuendo.
Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to get back to winning ways in Ligue 1 when they host Lyon at Parc des Princes on Sunday night. The hosts were beaten 2-0 by Rennes in their last outing before the international break, while Lyon played out a 1-1 draw against Nantes. Despite the loss, Parisians are occupying top spot in the French top flight standings, having collected 66 points from 28 games, six clear of second-placed Lens, who have played an extra match. The visitors, meanwhile, are languishing at the 10th position, with 41 points to their name, 11 points adrift of the top five.

PSG lost to in-form side Rennes at home courtesy of goals from Karl Toko Ekambi and Arnold Kalimuendo. It was the Red and Blues’ first-home defeat in the league, since the 1-0 loss to Lille in April 2021. The result ended PSG’s 35-game unbeaten run at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1. Christopher Galtier’s side have now conceded at least twice in each of their last three league-games in Paris and have just one clean sheet to show from their 12 matches across all competitions. On a positive note, PSG are unbeaten against Lyon in the last four encounters, while wining three of those clashes, including this seasons reverse fixture. Lionel Messi’s lone goal separated the two sides at Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Septamber last year.
Lyon, on the other hand, have taken three points from their last three outings. Laurent Blanc’s side earned a point against Nantes last time out, courtesy of Alexandre Lacazette’s 24th-minute equialiser. Lyon will play Nantes in the French Cup semi-final on April 5. Securing a top-five finish looks like a tough task for the Les Gones, therefore Blanc might be hoping to lead his side to glory in the domestic cup competition, which will give them a spot in the Europa Conference League group stages next season.
PSG probable starting Lineup: Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Pereira, Bernat, Hakimi, Verratti, Vitinha, Ruiz, Mendes, Messi, Mbappe
